What we collect
- What you send us: your name, brokerage, work email, and the property addresses you ask about, through our form or by email.
- Business contact details: the names, brokerages and work emails of real estate professionals. These come from public licensing records and brokerage websites, and we use them to introduce our service.
- Billing: if you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your card details. We never see or store your full card number.
- Basic technical data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security.
Our website uses no advertising trackers and no analytics cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
Why we use it
- To prepare and deliver the reports you request (to perform our service for you).
- To reply to you and, now and then, to tell real estate professionals about our service (our legitimate interest in reaching business users). Every such email lets you opt out with one reply.
- To bill subscriptions and keep records the law requires (contract and legal obligation).
Property information
Our reports summarize public records about properties, such as tax rolls, permits and public hearings. We do not use reports to evaluate any person, and they may not be used for tenant, employment, credit or insurance decisions.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run our business: website hosting and forms (Netlify), email (Google Workspace) and payments (Stripe). Each processes data only on our instructions. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we accept no referral fees from lenders, title companies, insurers or anyone else.
How long we keep it
Contact details stay with us while we are in touch, and are deleted within 30 days of a request. Billing records are kept for as long as tax law requires.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us at any time to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email hello@knowthishouse.com and we will act within 30 days. We are established in the European Union, so you may also complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg).
Our service is meant for adults and business users, not children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Significant changes will be announced by email to subscribers.
