What we provide

We prepare reports that summarize public records about a property, such as its taxes, permits and nearby public proceedings, for real estate professionals and their clients.

What a report is not

A report reflects the records available to us on the date it was prepared. Public records can be incomplete, delayed or wrong, and figures such as future taxes are estimates. A report is not an appraisal, a home inspection, a survey, a title search, or legal, tax, financial or insurance advice. Buyers should confirm important facts with the relevant agency or a licensed professional before relying on them.

Reports are not consumer reports under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. You may not use them to make decisions about a person's eligibility for housing, employment, credit or insurance.

Your use of reports

• Subscribers may share reports with their own clients, under their own name, as part of their real estate services.
• You may not resell reports, copy our service, or scrape or bulk-download our website.
• You are responsible for how you present reports to your clients, including compliance with your brokerage's rules and fair housing laws.

Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically. You may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. Fees already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires. Founding-agent prices stay the same for as long as your subscription stays active.

Our work and your feedback

The KnowThisHouse name, website, report format and methods belong to us. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

Liability

We provide the service "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness and fitness for a particular purpose. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including a decision to buy or not buy a property.
